Central Travancore Sahodaya

A shared digital platform for a network of schools, built around collaboration rather than competition.

The Central Travancore Sahodaya Complex brings together dozens of schools under a shared academic and co-curricular framework. Its digital presence needed to reflect this collaborative identity while serving distinct content needs for member schools, students, and parents.

01 — The Challenge

A multi-school network with no unified digital platform.

The Sahodaya network's announcements, event calendars, and inter-school competition results were distributed through disconnected channels — WhatsApp groups, individual school websites, and physical circulars. There was no single place for member schools to find network-wide information or for the organisation to communicate officially.

The platform needed to serve both the administrative needs of the Sahodaya office and the information needs of dozens of member schools.

02 — The Solution

A network-wide portal built for structured multi-school communication.

Techius designed the Sahodaya platform around a clear information hierarchy: network-wide announcements and events at the top, school-specific news feeding into a shared stream below. A custom CMS allowed the Sahodaya office to publish official communications while giving member schools a channel to share their own updates.

Inter-school event and competition management was built into the platform, streamlining the registration and result-publishing workflow that had previously relied on manual processes.

03 — The Impact

A network finally connected by design.

The Central Travancore Sahodaya platform brought coherence to a previously fragmented information landscape. Member schools gained a structured channel to communicate with the network, while parents and students gained a reliable source for official Sahodaya announcements.

The platform has become the operational backbone of the Sahodaya network's communication strategy.
